The landscape and grounds of this
exceptional one-acre estate invite you
in. Mature pine, ash, locust, hackberry, juniper and fruit trees surround
the perimeter, while much of the interior grounds include laurel and privet
hedge and vines of several varieties. There are perennial gardens, lilacs,
roses, peonies, mums, holly and various flowers and herbs. Of special
interest are unique apple trees, woven into trellis and candelabra
formations. Even during the winter months this outside landscape has a
special appeal.

For your summer enjoyment
there is an outdoor swimming/wading pool, a gazebo, a sport court and putting green. There are fountains and benches in various settings for your enjoyment and relaxation. Our outdoor hot tub is open year round. |
The interior of this 6800 sq. ft. English Tudor estate has been meticulously
decorated to capture a European/Victorian flavor. With two spacious guest suites
(each with private baths), three fireplaces, a parlor, living room, reading room,
large dining area, theater/entertainment room (with surround sound), billiard room,
table tennis room, and sauna, there is definitely something
of interest
for everyone!

As you arrive, the entryway looks up to a wood-paneled ceiling, an impressive chandelier, and a walnut staircase lined with original oil paintings. Holidays are a wonderful time to visit Highland House. The inside and outside of the estate are professionally decorated each year and come alive with thousands of lights and Holiday decor. |

The parlor is adorned with a wrap around credenza, wingback chairs, oil paintings and serves as a quiet sitting area to enjoy good conversation and snacks. |

The living/recital room is of Victorian design. The sofa, chairs, mirrors and paintings surround a baby grand, player piano provided for your use and listening enjoyment. | ||

The reading room is enchanting and entices you with a cozy, carved wood fireplace, leather sofa, writing desk and a multitude of books and magazines. It's the perfect place to unwind after a day on the slopes! |

The floral carpeted dining room is glass enclosed and overlooks the swimming pool, hot tub, gazebo, patio, gardens and putting green.This is also where breakfast is served during your stay.

Upstairs is where you find the guest suites. First is our premier King Suite. This spacious guestroom has an incredible view of the mountains through large bay windows. Comfortable amenities include an impressive King size bed, TV with DVD/VCR, an adjoining vanity, a sauna, and a bathroom with a jetted corner tub, shower and bidet. $250 per night - weekdays (Price includes all of the amenities of the estate)

The Queen Suite is old European style. This bedroom setting includes a Queen sleigh bed, comfortable rattan seating, TV with DVD/VCR and an adjoining tiled bath with a huge sunken tub, a shower and bidet. $200 per night - weekdays (Price includes all of the amenities of the estate)

The theater/entertainment room offers a nest of seating facing a high definition big screen, with VCR and DVD for your movie viewing. The surround sound stereo system gives the room a true theater feeling. Movie titles are available for your use at no additional charge. There is a travertine fireplace, original oil paintings, an entertainment center equipped with Play-Station III, as well as two game tables with built-in checker, chess, and backgammon boards. A variety of table games are on hand for your enjoyment |

Downstairs,
the billiard and table tennis rooms are available to test your competitive
skills. A pub table and chairs, fireplace, leather seating, large television
with DVD/VCR and a surround-sound stereo system add yet another place
for relaxation.
